Before you burn
- Read the county page the same day. A ban can be ordered after this desk was updated.
- A clear page still leaves the TCEQ outdoor-burning rule in place.
- Burn natural material from that property, keep it small, and have a way to put it out.
- Have the fire dead out before sunset. Do not burn trash, tires, treated wood, shingles, or chemicals.
- If a fire escapes, call 911.
